Our Mission
APFAA creates stable housing solutions for adults with serious mental illness on Cape Cod through property development, community partnerships, and advocacy that respects dignity, promotes independence, and fosters belonging.

Cliff Calderwood
As a family support group facilitator for NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness), Cliff works directly with Cape Cod families navigating the mental healthcare system. He founded APFAA to answer the critical need for stable affordable housing he witnesses in the community every day.
Erika Slater
Erika is an entrepreneur and a local Cape Cod business owner with experience in mind health, and co-facilitator of a SMI family support group.
